'La Glorieta' is the square and garden just in front of the 'Ayuntamiento', or city council, main entrance. It is as beautiful as a peach, there many flowers in full bloom are planted all year long in Murcia's everlasting spring. The 'Ayuntamiento'' has also access from the Apostles' square, being Murcian most valuable treasure. And last but not least, its ultimate asset is architect Rafael Moneo's eclectic extension building which contemporarily mirrors the opposite barroque cathedral's façade both marking contrast and adding continuity to the architectural achievements of the place.
