Easy to get to and get around and has everything you need from shops to food options and lots of coffee shops as well.
Best to use the online virtual map to get around.
Wonton Hut Noodle Bar
2023 Oct 10
Shrimp Wonton Noodle soup is my go-to here (always with egg noodles) and the brisket noodle soup is great as well. Service is always quick and friendly when you order ahead for takeout which is what I usually do. Takeout is always well packaged as well as I drive from about 25 mins out to pick up.
Their house Milk tea is really tasty perfect balance of creaminess and sweetness and comes in a cute cup. They take both cash and debit here as well. I’ve never dined in as it’s usual a busy area for parking and dining. But do recommend all their soups.
Tastee Patisserie

Great bakery with a selection of sweet and savoury pastries. Definitely a different selection from what you’d find at the other Tastee shops.
Here you can get cakes, cookies, macarons, danishes, breads, Asian styled buns (pineapple, coconut, tuna, sausga etc.) and of course Beef Patties (or chicken) in spicy & non-spicy.
Exhibits change frequently so it’s a great place to visit on your own, with family or friends. It’s worth while you get the annual pass and be able to visit as much as you want in a year. They have an eating b stress of you want to bring your own food especially for kids. Or they have food for purchase inside but of course it’s a little pricey. There is a lovely cafe on n the second floor with nice views of the museum.
The kids love to visit when there are art activities. Kids are also free admission!
Lots to see at the gallery. It can be busy on holidays and peak times. I’d recommend going off peak times so you have space and time to see what you want. If you have a pass you can see a little at a time and just come back.
Forest Cafe

Adorable neighbourhood cafe.
My fav go to drink is the Dalgona Latte (hot or cold) The baked treats like croissants 🥐 are delicious as well. It’s a cute and quiet cafe you can set up and work in as well.
Parking is not great because if the location so it’s hard to find parking. Service and food are great with lots of Korean inspired drinks and baked goods. They also offer milk alternatives and have a changing menu of treats and drinks as they seasons change.
