I can't believe I have lived in Ontario all my life and have never been here sooner. I love historic places, especially ones with marine connections. The entry fee is extremely reasonable. It took us a few hours to meander through the entire site, and enjoyed the presentations from the actors. The only thing that would make this experience better would be if you could actually take a sail on the HMS Tecumseth.
A good stretch of sandy beach. Limited parking, but free. Portapotty on site. A little murky, but not too weedy. Kids enjoyed it. Was not busy when we went on a Friday in July.
