Like dining with seagulls? Please improve here, very disappointed. So, let’s break it down…

Atmosphere: **
Sunday night, beach front dining. We found a 7 seat high (bar) table, which was very cramped and felt uncomfortable. Additionally, the tables seemed over compressed and hard to negotiate if you needed to walk around. Inside the venue was better presented but also look very unused considering it’s the Gold Coast. As the open area is shared with 3 other restaurants the customer experience feels very flat.

Customer Service: **
I give this rating as constructional feedback.
You were understaffed tonight, with delays on the food - additionally a mushroom sauce was missing from the rump steak order, notified immediately at the bar and it took almost 10 minutes to get it out to us.
Staff were friendly and doing the best they could but it felt poorly organised with tables going un-bussed for some time. This allowed for seagulls to fly in, land on the tables and start eating the left over food. This is a serious hygiene issue - more attention here should be given. The whole area should be netted from guards to the roadside ceiling.

Food (why we are here): ***
Order Chicken Parmigiana & Beef Brisket Burger (chef special)
Chicken Parmigiana: Napoli sauce was really flat in flavour, I suspect that not enough sauce was used. The chicken was good thick portion though, juicy and tasty. Salad seemed thrown together, but the chips were excellent!
Beef Brisket Burger: brisket was melt in your mouth texture, but sriracha sauce was lacking in hot spice flavour, was rather mild for me, the size of the burger was perfect, larger then your normal burger, overall a tasty good size burger only, no chips which was an extra cost.

Overall: **

I believe there are some serious issues that need to be addressed with the service, food and atmosphere of this restaurant and also the outside dining area in general across all of these restaurants. I highly encourage you to look into this.

It’s hard to fault the rating. Food was outstandingly delicious, the service precise and timely & an engaging atmosphere. So, let’s break it down….

Atmosphere: *****
It’s a first-date worthy place, with so many patrons it can get a little noisy which can help relax the tension. It’s great for birthdays, special occasions, and friends to enjoy a little fancier dinner than the local pub grub. Lighting is warm, with well-placed, level staging to separate the guests; also has a nicely heated outdoor area out the front. The vibe is lively, extremely well presented and feels classy but homely at the same time. Very clean presentation from the representatives to the cutlery. Extremely, Well done.

Customer Service: *****
Our customer service was incredibly efficient! We were greeted well, fresh water provided as we were shown our seats and menus already prepared for our arrival on our table waiting. When our other guest arrived, within about 3 minutes, we were asked for our drinks (again delivered swiftly) as were allowed to chat for about 5 minutes before being offered our order.
Entree was served within 7 minutes, within Dinner under 10 minutes following that. Amazingly, when finished, the plate was bussed within about a minute of finishing, again exceptional.
The experience was flawless. Excellent work.

Food: *****
The 5-star reputation really does speak for itself. The food was delicious, came with the options of fresh Parmesan and while the portions may look small in the picture, they are not.
Order: Ovest, 2 x Beef Ragu, Homemade Cheville Gnocchi (ent. Garlic Bread)
Ovest: The Lamb was so flavourful, the Moroccan seasoning which elevated through the entire dish were excellent, not to mention the large cut mushrooms, outstanding freshly made pasta and that nice selection of snow peas with herbs to brighten the freshness.
Beef Ragu: Again, flavourful with a hearty winter felt flavour with melt in your mouth cooked beef, a rich tomato sauce and that homemade pasta cooked perfectly.
Gnocchi: Was told was excellent, the only downside was the serving size, in this case, was a little small (compared to the others), but was delicious, nonetheless.

Overall: *****
This was an excellent experience if you want to have an engaging, special night out with the people you care about. It is a little pricey for your average night out, but the food & service that comes with it reassures you that the price you paid for the whole experience is entirely worth the occasion. Thank you so much Shanikas, Berwick
What a gem in this area. Outstanding in food &
service in a hidden little area. Highly recommend; so, let’s break it down:

Atmosphere: *****
Located in a small set of shops off a main road is this great little find. With a quaint shop front, you move inside to a nicely decorated Thailand themed restaurant. The shop is long and a little narrow but they use the space well and cleanliness is held in high regard. Well done!

Customer Service: *****
Was excellent, we were offered a drink on arrival, plus water and glasses were prepared on the table.
We were given about 5-10 minutes to chat and enjoy our drinks, then ordered entrees and mains. Entrees were provided in 8 minutes and mains 10 mins after that. Exceptional!
We were asked after our meal, offered dessert and the table was bussed within 2 minutes of each of us finishing.
Everything was presented with a smile and the staff were so nice and friendly. Well done!

Food: (Why we are here): *****
Order: Vegetarian Spring Rolls, Curry Puffs, Massaman Currie with Duck, Penang Currie with Beef & and side of sticky rice.
Entrees: as expected the curry puffs were light and fluffy and the spring rolls crispy and hot.
Massaman - haven’t tried this with duck before but I can tell you it was delicious, the duck was so tender, the vegetables were cooked (with that yummy soft crunch) and the sauce was so rich and flavourful you wanted to drown the rice in it.
Penang - as above, the beef was cooked perfectly, the mixture of veggies (perfectly cooked) added to the mix of spices and sauce. Very more’ish.

I have been here twice now and they have delivered this quality on both occasions with, what seems to be, absolutely pleasure and ease. I cannot recommend this Thai restaurant enough, Thank You, White Jasmine Thai!

Surprising back-alley Café, with a chill, well-presented vibe, great coffee for your little hideaway me-time in the city. So, let’s break it down…

Atmosphere: ****
Excellently presented, clean, welcoming and the décor is an amazing fit for a place that is literally in an off-street ally. It honestly seems like the perfect get away inside the city if you want to zone out the hustle and bustle of the city. My only disappointment is that the front counter and menus seem cluttered and compressed - the specials board is way off to the right. Had I have seen it; I would have ordered the omelette. Otherwise, it is awesome!

Customer Service: ****
It was early in the morning, and it seemed like the representative was a little distracted, which could have explained the latte I received and not the flat white. I drink both, so it wasn’t an issue but still.
Apart from that the service was impeccable and so was the timing. Well Done.

Food (Why we are here): ****
Order: Bacon, Egg Cheese Muffin with Tomato Relish & large skinny flat white
Muffin: It was pre-prepared and ready to go – but it was delicious, it was the relish which added the extra tasty goodness.
Coffee: While it was supposed to be a flat white, the latte and coffee was excellent. Great temperature, excellent flavour and very morish. Was very tempted to grab a takeaway for the road when finished.

Overall: ****
While there are small improvements to be made, I wasn’t disappointed with the quality of food that was provided, and it was a nice place to warm up to your working day. If I'm back this way again, I will certainly be getting another coffee. Thank you, Cafinatics.

These bento’s are tasty. Great décor and a place to dine in and forget about the outside world. So, lets break it down…

Atmosphere: ****
Very neat, clean and somewhat intimate feeling when you dine in, as it is not a large place. The décor is very nice and almost takes you away from the hustle outside. The only drawback I could see is that if you are a sitting at the back, the tables are very close together so sometimes it feels like you're joining a random group for lunch. Well Done.

Customer Service: ****
Super quick to take your order and they will bring it to your table when ready.
The order only took about 8 minutes to prepare and was hot & ready to eat.
The service representative was friendly and courteous, hoping the I enjoy the lunch. Nice touch, great job.

Food (why we are here): ****
Order: Bento Box J $19.90 (Inflation is killing us atm)
I have ordered this a few times and while this is certainly my favourite, it does sway between perfectly cooked chicken pieces to overcooked and dry. However, when it is perfect, it is just that. The teriyaki and honey glaze do hit spot and it is a large serving – you could probably split this between two for a light lunch and you would be satisfied.

Overall: ****
It’s a great place with a few short comings but overall, I keep coming back here occasionally for the Bento’s and Sushi Rolls. Both are above average, and you won’t leave hungry or disappointed.
Thank you, Hitoshi Sushi.
