I hired Summit for weekly mowing and fall leaf removal. They were a bit more expensive than others, but we're the first to respond so I gave them a shot. I spoke with the owner, David. He pulled up on line photos of the property and we discussed the need for a push mower, and which days the crew would arrive. The next week, they did not arrive on either of the two days. I emailed David and they arrived the next day. They did not have a mower! The crew leader asked multiple questions about the layout of the backyard, I finally told him to walk back and look at it? They hacked at the front yard with a weed wacker and when removing the leaves with a tarp dislodged decorative stone bed borders. I emailed the owner and asked about the mowing, he said they couldn't mow it due to the slope. He then invoiced me for the full amount even though they did not mow.
