Situated away from the crowds yet still close to the park, Under Canvas Bryce Canyon provides a quiet and picturesque refuge after a long day of hiking and exploring. With tents that are well spaced, there’s an air of peaceful solitude. The property is beautiful and the tents look just like what you see online. They have all the modern amenities (running water, bathroom and shower in each tent, stylish and comfortable furnishings, etc) for those of us who like the “idea” of camping but don’t really want to camp. The customer service was awesome. A big shoutout to Torri who checked us in and oriented us to the camp. She was friendly, engaging and helpful. One of the things I like most about Under Canvas in general, is how everyone they employ has a passion for the land around them. They know and love to talk about their experience living there, the best hikes and activities off the beaten path, where to catch an amazing sunset or sunrise, and what makes the surrounding area so special. Torri was no exception and completely embodied that vibe. She always made sure we had everything we needed and responded promptly to any requests. Our 13 and 9 year olds loved playing the board games in the main tent. Their favorite place to chill was the hammock hangout filled with hammocks and circular swings. We spent most of the evening sitting around the campfire making s’mores and talking. You CANNOT go to bed until you’ve done a little stargazing. The lack of artificial light creates a special opportunity to see a spectacle in the sky. We opted for the stargazer tent and that proved to be a great choice. Snuggled in for the night, we stared at the stars and let them lull us to sleep. It was a fantastic experience and I whole heartedly recommend Under Canvas Bryce Canyon to anyone visiting the area.
