We stayed in a cabin and loved it! A couple of FYIs:
- The cabins are close to each other and you can easily chat with your neighbors
- Cabin 3 is set back and has the most privacy. Cabin 1 has a nice side yard with no neighbors
- All of the cabins have a propane grill and a fire pit.
- Honestly I was expecting the cabin to be musty and cobwebby but I was totally wrong. They seem to be recently built and are clean. I didn’t see a single spider.
- I think they all have the tiny cube-sized mini fridges, except the Potting Shed which has a dorm-sized fridge. We expected our cabin to have a dorm-sized fridge and wished we had brought a bigger cooler because very little fits inside the cube fridges
- The bath house was clean and showers were clean and private. There is a single stall bathroom next to the cabin area which was nice. I’d avoid sites near the bath house, I can imagine the constant creak and slam of the screen door on the bath house would drive someone crazy.
- The people in the office are nice. Ice was $3 per bag and $5 per block
- Great location: we walked to Bass Harbor Lighthouse and to Ship’s Harbor.
- Unfortunately the comments about the wifi being terrible and the showers running out of hot water are correct.
Overall we loved it and would 100% go back!

Love this place! Favorite neighborhood spot for lunch or dinner or just to take a walk and get a snack. The “puerco” and the “tomato” empanadas are great and the churros are amazing! The space is nice but also a great takeout option.
