Came here for our anniversary. Was really looking forward to the experience due to the menu and previous reviews. First of all, the ambience was super cool. Definitely a fun and easy going vibe. Second, the service was wonderful. Very responsive and happy to explain the menu items.
Unfortunately those were the biggest positives. The food left us really disappointed. Got the crispy pork belly appetizer. The glaze on the pork belly didn’t really work for us. Also the scallion pancake underneath was so hard that you could barely cut it was a knife.
For entrees we got the burger and the sea bass. The burger was cooked as requested but didn’t come with any lettuce tomato onion. It didn’t say it came with that on the menu, but I would think that’s a relatively standard accompaniment to a burger. Maybe the waiter could’ve asked if that was wanted. The burger was overall just OK. The fries were super yummy - reminded us of five guys (that’s a compliment). The sea bass was pretty disappointing. The only taste was on the crust - but the rest of the fish was pretty bland. By the end of the meal we didn’t want to risk getting a dessert for concerns it would be as disappointing as the rest of the meal. A final positive, the drinks were pretty solid.

We were looking for a quick place to eat and stumbled onto this restaurant. You can eat outside, at the bar, or fully inside. Be aware if you eat outside or at the bar, your menu is severely limited.

Today we ordered the lasagna, chicken Caesar salad, kids pizza, herb potatoes, and calamari.
The lasagna was delicious - probably one of the best I’ve had. Super creamy and very tasty. The chicken Caesar salad was good with a creamy/tangy dressing. The portion was also quite big which was appreciated.
The kids pepperoni pizza did the job for our child.
The calamari was a split opinion between our party but I thought it was good with the spicy sauce. The potatoes were also tasty but you’ll probably need to add salt.
I’d be happy to come back again.

Our kiddo liked the fish and chips and appreciated being served peas. They also really enjoyed the ice cream with wafer cookies at the end.
The hamburgers were a bit disappointing and seemed more like meatloaf. I appreciated all the lettuce and tomato, but the bun fell apart immediately. Service was really good and the bathroom was easy to get to downstairs.

We went here for a birthday celebration. Right off the bat, the ambience is super cool. Quiet and lounge like describe this restaurant. There’s music but it’s barely audible in a good way. Service was good.
We ordered the duck fat fries and shrimp and chroizo to start. Wow the fries were delicious with a crazy surprise of smoked ketchup.
For entrees we got the hot honey chicken pizza (daily special) and the build your own burger. Both were stupendous. So uncommon to have a burger cooked a correct medium rare, but they did it.
The dessert, the stout brownie was the fluffiest most jiggly brownie I’ve ever had. Delicious.
We also ordered the smoke show cocktail which wasn’t really our style. I won’t hold that against them. You could tell how well the drunk was made.
All in all it was a great experience. Super delicious. Can’t wait to go back.

We’ve been to Flounder Brewing a few times and always saw Bellemara and wondered how they were.
So glad we finally went! Downstairs is a nice bar with convenient seating. Upstairs is a super chill and relaxing lounge area.
We ordered the Bellemara coffee (picture) and the Hot Buttered Barley. Both were delicious and priced quite well. They don’t have food, aside from some prepackaged snacks. We got some stroop waffles which paired well with the drinks. You can always get food and bring it which is super convenient.
It was wonderful to drink in the lounge and overlook parts of the distillery below.
Definitely need to go back asap!
