This park is a local haven for bird life. Both native and invasive species are found here, including Rainbow Lorikeets and Wattlebirds. There are lots of good private spots to sit and enjoy the sounds and sights, as well as many walking paths that lead to different bush surroundings, making it an interesting place to go for a stroll within walking distance of shops and train station.
The only thing that could be improved is the litter. Some of the more secluded parts of the park seem to be used by groups drinking alcohol and leaving their rubbish behind.
