Morbill Custom Homes is currently building a new home on the lot next to ours. Unlike Focal Point Homes, which built the new home a few months earlier on an adjacent lot, Morbill has not engaged with the community and its workers and sub-contractors have proven to be rude, discourteous, and disrespectful of the residential neighborhood. Morbill workers have repeatedly left their trash in our yard; begun extremely loud work early in the morning in violation of the Fairfax County noise ordinance; play loud music throughout the day; failed to keep the jobsite clean; left vehicles and equipment blocking a narrow cul-de-sac which has prevented trash collection, mail delivery, and general access; engaged in rude and unprofessional behavior with neighbors; operated machinery in a careless and negligent manner; and allowed workplace debris to spread all over our property. Morbill has not been responsive to repeated attempts to contact them directly. I would stay far, far away from this business.
