Solid and simple popcorn chicken bento, perfect for a fast lunch. They really fill up the bowl with a lot of chicken and rice, so you won’t feel hungry after this meal.

Honestly everything was just relatively fine. We ordered four tapas, and only the cod toast really impressed me. Everyone was raving about the steak katsu sandwich, but ours just was not tender enough, even though it was a medium rare. Lacked seasoning too. The squash lacked flavor too. The cod toast was great because the fish itself was super tender, but the toast was very crispy. The roe on top also added to the combination of textures. Fideua was a paella thing except with really short noodles and not rice, a very unique dish that was fun to try but flavors were pretty much just salt.

Surprisingly the food was not bad and the pasta texture was quite solid. I was pleasantly surprised considering it’s located in tourist trap central in Rockefeller. The pici was actually so perfectly al dente, while the tuna tartare had a good chili punch. The ricotta was very creamy, as ricotta should be, so that was also solid. Sourdough was a bit tough, and the spritzes.

Overall great flavors and tapas are lovely, but it is pricey for what you get. We ordered the fried shrimp, bone marrow, jamon and fried artichoke, and beef cheeks. Highly recommend the beef cheeks, they were super tender and flavorful. The jamon and fried artichoke were very unique and a fun dish to try. The bone marrow was alright, I think not enough bone marrow and too much red peppers + bread. The shrimp were crunchy, but not a necessary order.

The shawarma was pretty good, but I forget everything else that we ordered, despite the fact that we ordered a LOT of food. Clearly, nothing really stood out to me. I wish I liked it more because so many of my friends rave about this spot.
