When you say a park, it’s is the Walter Baker Park. An authentic one. It has almost everything if not more, a splash pad, two play structures, a gazebo, a fountain, a hockey field (not one but at least two), a wonderful tobogganing hill or you can use it as a training incline, next to the Kanata Recreation center where so many activities are help there. And don’t forget the BBQ grills that built in and a couple of picnic tables and chairs, and extra benches here and there. My favourite thing in it is the accessibility for strollers and wheelchairs and lots of green and water and plenary of and trails. For somehow, the sky is always must more beautiful there.
Kids love it, grandparents love it and parents and groups love it too.
Try to go at least once.

Spacious, good variety of shops and clean. With two kids( 5 and 1), it was so good and both of them were happy. The bathrooms weee clean even on Saturdays( on a busy day)
Very beautiful and family friendly. Picnic area, baseball field, and always a public toilet is there. The playground is so adorable four main attractions. And the shade is always there. Abundant park benches.
You and all the family will have fun. 😉
