This store caters to the Latino community and everyone else that appreciates authentic ingredients for their cooking. We went by for white tortillas which've been shrinkflationed and priced up at large corporate markets across town. Like, $3.00 for 10, 8" inch tortillas, not even a dozen! Walked into the Numero Uno market and the tortilla display had stacks of 2 dozen tortilla packs for $3.49!!! We got our torts and went on to finish our errands. Tortillas aren't luxury food items. Why they're priced so high is ridiculous!!!
Attended a community meeting there for furnishing the Coastal area with first responder equipment. The firefighter on duty was politely helpful when needed.
Historic home beautifully restored and maintained by the San Pedro Historical Society who give detailed guided tours about the houses origins, the families who built & lived in it and how it came to be on its superb bluff location. A lovely and informative visit to olde San Pedro.
Helpful lobby personnel and wheelchair assistance make getting thru the airport to your flight a pleasing experience. The flight crews also add luster to the travel experience with their friendly instructions and helpful in-flight services. Plane bathrooms are surprisingly compact, verging on uncomfortably small towards getting your business done without knocking yourself against the wall, counter & door.
