I popped into tesco to purchase wine and other drinks to have with dinner, we were on holidays staying in a near by suite . I am 52 years of age. The male store assistant working at 15:00 on 26/08/2023 refused to serve me saying he needed to see ID from all of my company. I was holidaying with my family.
This is the most ludicrous thing I have ever heard. I actually thought he was joking but he wasn't.
Shame on you Tesco. I will be formally lodging a complaint about this.
