Trendy plant-based eatery in Soho with various tasty dishes. Came here on New Year’s Day shortly after they opened, expecting that they would have the brunch menu available, but unfortunately they did not (no worries as the regular menu looked good).
When we first got there our waitress asked if we wanted still or sparkling water, we said still, assuming it would be standard tap water; only later in the meal did we realize that they charged us for a bottle (we noticed that every other table had a different style bottle of water). We were never given the option for tap - we never order non-tap bottled water.
For food we ordered the nachos to start (it was strongly suggested we get it with a side of guacamole). The nachos were good but the guac just ok, would not order that again. We also got the patatas bravas which were tasty, and the sausage sandwich which we thought was good, not great.
We ordered the crème brûlée for dessert which was very tasty.
We did not find our waitress to be super friendly or helpful; it seemed that their service was better for other tables. Other staff seemed to be friendly.
Love that this is a vegan restaurant, but overall, considering the cost and our experience here, not sure we would come back when visiting London.

Trendy restaurant in a somewhat unassuming location, serving various Peruvian-inspired dishes.
Love that they have extensive vegan and vegetarian options (rare among Peruvian restaurants). Came here for New Years and ordered the vegetarian fixed menu (which included a pisco sour, shishito peppers, sesame glazed cucumbers, a broccoli dish, mushroom ceviche, miso carrots, aubergine/eggplant, a mapo tofu dish, and a chocolate dessert). The food was good, and the meal was filling, though both my wife and I agreed that we weren’t “blown away” by anything, and a few of the dishes we were most looking forward to were a bit underwhelming - the mushroom ceviche was just alright, and the mapo tofu and aubergine dishes were super salty (though the texture of the aubergine was perfect).
Our waitress was friendly, service was efficient (first courses came out super quick), and the space the restaurant is set in is very nice and well decorated.

Intimate venue in a central area of West Hollywood. All GA, great sound and great views throughout. Loved the show I saw here but -2 stars for the rude, aggressive and highly unprofessional security (literally some of the worst staff I’ve ever encountered at any show, ever). Came here for a sold out show last night and from the start, found the security to be rude, unhelpful and unprofessional. Before entering had a question about show time and very nicely asked the staff with long hair and glasses at the front and he gave me a rude and sarcastic nonresponse; totally unhelpful. Inside, it was clear many of the staff were aggressive and looking to start fights, often targeting people unprovoked. Over the course of the evening random fans got pushed and literally thrown to the floor for walking or unknowingly standing in the aisle (no warning given), and I saw several instances where people were pushed by security hard into the crowd causing confusion and irritation among other concertgoers.
Overall, the Roxy is a great venue but they really need an overhaul on their staff.

Columbus Park is a great place to hang out and people watch. Nicely maintained park space in Chinatown that makes you feel like you could be in another country. When we came here in the early afternoon on a weekday, there were people playing Chinese instruments, socializing, and sitting around playing mahjong and other traditional games. Definitely worth a visit if in the area.
Intimate Tuscan restaurant with a rustic feel serving high quality Italian foods, differentiated from many of the restaurants you’d find in Little Italy. Several vegetarian options, some which can be customized to vegan. Ordered the pappa al pamadoro bread soup, a spinach appetizer, the papardelle al pepolino red pasta and a spaghetti chitara. Everything was very tasty, different and authentic feeling. The quality of the pasta was 👌🏼. The bread they served with a tomato spread was also delicious. Friendly staff, good dining experience
