I’m always looking for good coffee shops so I was excited to give this one a try. They have quite a few coffee drink selections, as well as tea, and I opted for the drip coffee as it’s my favorite. It was done well and I enjoyed the cup. I also went for the carrot cake, as it’s hard to pass up when it’s on the menu. It was a cupcake actually. Overall though, I found it to be dry and a little bland. The icing was nice though. Other reviews have said the sandwiches are good so maybe I should go back. The staff was friendly and the space was nice with lots of natural light.
I was here for a baby shower and there was an area reserved that was perfect for the occasion. The food was buffet style, consisting of pastries, pasta, bacon, eggs, and other brunch-style foods. And it was all so delicious. The service was attentive and the staff was nice. There was even a private bathroom for the event. It’s not only a great place to host an event but the food is definitely worth trying. I’ll have to come back.
Apparently this is the place to get one of the best currywurst in town. It was actually my first time having it and it was a treat. I got the spicy option, and while not spicy for me, it had a nice kick. The woman working there was great, and kinda pushy in an endearing way. I was just gonna go for the bratwurst but she told me I had to try the currywurst…so I listened. Standing bar inside with a couple of tables outside. Check this place out for some good sausages.
An absolutely hidden gem that everyone passing through Hamburg station should go to. The chicken burrito was delicious, and the chicken was just so tender and juicy. The cheese was melty and the tortilla crunchy, adding some texture to everything else. Add guacamole if you want a little extra treat and I’d recommend getting the spicy option. Other traditional dishes to choose from too.
So I came with the hopes of trying their carrot cake, as the reviews seemed to be very positive about it. They didn’t have it, but they had cheesecake which I love. Unfortunately, I didn’t love this one. Not sure if it was the kind of cheese or the consistency or the volume (it was a huge piece), but it just wasn’t my favorite. However, the flat white was good and the cafe itself was great, so it’s still worth a drop by if you’re in the area.
