Small buzzy cafe, great for a weekend brunch. Really unique menu for Dublin that’s not a cut and paste of every other spot and that’s executed well. The hash brownies are legendary would definitely recommend them, scrambled eggs - perfect. Excellent coffee. My usual gripe applies of not being able to book a table, so if you go at the weekend expect a 20+ minute wait with a coffee in hand (acceptable for the quality of the food).
São Lourenço do Barrocal is an exceptional hotel. The personalised service we received when going there for my partners birthday was out of this world, a homemade birthday cake presented at breakfast was the most special thought from the staff. I would like to especially mention Filipa - she was a joy to interact with. The rooms are phenomenal, the grounds are pristine while respecting the natural Alentejan setting. The spa and wine tasting rooms were beautiful. We’re planning to come back as soon as we can.
