Uhyon Chung

This was a very small bakery and there was only space for a few people inside to wait to order. When we went there late in the morning there was a line. We tried differing bakery items and were very good generally. The chocolate croissant had some other things besides chocolate (unlike the French version...). The coffee was not too bad but nothing to write home about.

It was a nice cloudy summer day to walk up to the Washington monument. It's very tall and big once you walk up to it. You can see the 3 major locations in DC from here: the White House, Capitol and the Lincoln Memorial. This is a place that you really need to bring your kids to to really feel the history.

We ordered two flat bread pizzas a tuna wrap and roast beef sandwich. The regular cheese pizza was not too good. The california pizza was good. The roast beef sandwich and tuna wrap was ok. Hiwever, we had pla piece of wood chip come out of the wrap. We asked for a new one and the counter lady thought that it was part of the tuna! We did get a replacement but it was not a pleasant experience.

The garden outside is really nice and the cafe interior is pretty nice too.

We tried 3 dishes. The 회덥밥(sashimi rice) had nice visuals and came with a soy bean paste soup and was very good. The 제육돌솥(red paste pork with rice in rock bowl) was too salty and we had add half an extra bowl of rice and even then it was a bit salty. The 육회(raw beef with yolk) was pretty good as well but a very salty so you need an extra bowl of rice...

The mens' bathroom floor was pretty disgusting as it had what looks like evaporated piss pooling around the urinal. The toilet wasn't flushed and had toilet paper all over...

The restaurant floor is pretty clean and I couldn't feel the grease that a lot of BBQ places have at all.

We went back, and the men's bathroom was cleaner but they should really do something about the stalls as they are rusting from the urine and the wall behind the urinal is yellow... eww
