Petinos is a great brunch place, I really enjoy it. It is my number one place to go if I want a good breakfast meal. The portion has a good size, and the coffee is pretty good. I have tried many Petinos, but the one next to the outlet is one of my favorites. Way to go Petinos, stay with this good service and food. I will go back and I recommend it.
The demerit point about the old Québec is that it is always very crowded. Otherwise it is very pleasant and beautiful. I won't recommend going by car, it is too difficult to find parking. If you are going from Montreal, just take a bus tour so you can really enjoy it and don't worry about anything else.
It is wonderful for kids because there are lots of fun games that can teach them science, but not as much for adults. I thought it was more a museum type of thing, but I was mistaken. I think it is an amazing place to go if you have children between six and 12. They will enjoy it for sure. It is not an adult solo activity.
Beautiful spot to spend the day. The Fort is cute and the fee is not expensive, really good and friendly staff. I enjoyed my visit. Also, there is a mall you can park for free and walk to the Fort using the waterfront boardwalk which has pretty nice views. Worth a visit for sure.
