Always has been a beautiful, relaxing, picturesque gardens that's worth traveling to from short and far. Preserved to the most amazing and highest standard. Public toilet on site and disabled access to gardens and toilets. A must visit for anyone in Bury St Edmunds. The historical value is a real treasure as well
I love this park in Thetford and have done since I was a young boy. They've really updated the children's playground and the steps up to the old castle ruin are a big help ( I use to climb the steep banks). Toilets are nearby and helpful as well
Nice little visit if you're in the area. It's well hidden, access via Castle Hill. Has a nice story behind it and a lovely view from the Batman's Folly
