Kings Kitchen quickly became one of my favourite Chinese restaurants during my visit to NY.
Despite its tiny layout and closely spaced tables, the restaurant offered a diverse menu at reasonable prices. From fried noodles to congee, the array of dishes was impressive. The bustling atmosphere, while a testament to its popularity, did mean that the tables were close together, limiting privacy and creating a less-than-cozy feel.
The service, though acceptable, left room for improvement, as the staff seemed occupied with their conversations.
Overall dining experience and the quality of the food make Kings Kitchen a recommended stop, especially if you find yourself in Brooklyn
-Fried wonton 4/5
-Yellow Eel rice casserole 3/5
-Roasted duck 4/5 rice roll with BBQ pork 4/5
-Soy sauce chicken leg noodle soup 4/5.

We tried the famous ice cream in Chinatown—a tiny store located on one of the busy streets. They offer a unique variety of flavours, and customers can taste the ice cream before making a purchase. Everything was delightful. I particularly love coconut, so both of us chose that flavour.
We ordered one scoop, and I was impressed by the size of it. Even though I initially thought it was a mistake, I asked the staff, and she confirmed that it was indeed one scoop.
Comparing it to Chinese sweet levels, I found it to be a little sweeter. Overall, both the service and the ice cream were good.

I was craving churros.
The tiny churros were priced at $5.25+tax, which I found a bit expensive.
The flavour was okay, but I don't recommend purchasing them as they aren't worthwhile.

I had a fantastic experience with the assistance I received at the self-checkout from a woman named Athena (apologies if I misspelled her name). She kindly came to our aid, provided us with some useful codes, and offered helpful suggestions.
Athena is an exceptionally pleasant person. If you ever have questions or need assistance, I highly recommend reaching out to her. She is always willing to lend a hand.

I highly recommend visiting this place. The value of the ticket is well worth it because they have a wide range of exhibitions to offer. Be prepared to spend three to four hours exploring all four floors.
I suggest downloading the map through their website, as it's easy to navigate, and also purchasing tickets in advance. There are two entrances: one on Central Park West and the other on W 81st St. If you can't purchase tickets online, you can go to the cashier, but it may take 5-15 minutes depending on the day.
I noticed that weekdays (Monday to Thursday) are less crowded. I visited on a Wednesday during my trip, and it was a peaceful environment for taking photos. On Friday, it was super busy, with long lines at both entrances.
We were fascinated by the exhibits in the Gems and Minerals, Human Origins, Insectarium, African Mammals, Dinosaurs, and Blue Whales halls.
