Visiting my children for the holidays and MORE OF THE SAME — TERRIBLE SECURITY!!!!! At the height of rush hour on a holiday week security at front gate is NO WHERE to be found as cars back up to street. For the better part of FOUR DAYS & NIGHTS the C Bldg had the front doors propped WIDE OPEN with pieces of concrete which is UNACCEPTABLE. One day I left post sunrise only to see the “guard” sound asleep — the exit gate has been wide open for the entirety of my stay. The back gate near restaurant row is FREQUENTLY PROPPED OPEN WITH SCOOTERS, setting up restaurant patrons and EMPLOYEES who live here for a less than safe and ideal situation. Do these gates not have alarms to alert security??? VEHICLES ARE PARKED IN FIRE ZONES ALL TIMES OF DAY & NIGHT while there are plenty of open spaces — again, NO EXCUSES and an unsafe situation for adorable but air filled lofty tinder boxes. There are rusted out unused bicycles littering the property entrances and throughout the property yet my daughter’s bikes were stolen and magically no one can view camera footage. This early rising Mama has seen some very disturbing and unsafe practices with the “security” here and as for the smartassed young man at security this morning … the answer is emphatically YES, I DO THINK I CAN DO YOUR JOB 100% BETTER THAN YOU! Any one could. You do NOT have the disposition for your job. DO YOUR JOB!!!! You know what you did this morning!!!! Security needs security!

As for the pros of the complex there are many — the pool, the gym, restaurant row and the historic and art filled location for starters. I have encountered some unfriendly dogs here but that’s what mandatory homeowners insurance is for I suppose. The dog owners who don’t pick up their poop are many but that’s the disgusting norm with animal friendly complexes.
