Fun bar-style restaurant with a good variety of food options. I had the Caesar salad and a basket of sweet potato fries - both delicious.
Service very quick and friendly, and a nice casual atmosphere.

Such a pretty pub with a lot of potential, but we had a very mixed experience.
Both ordered the Sunday roast. Portion sizes great with lots of veg, but the chicken was dry, potatoes rather flavourless and the gravy like water. On the other hand, my friend’s lamb roast was amazing and she said it was the best roast she’d ever had.
Service was slow and the staff seemed incredibly distracted. We had to ask for everything: to place an order, for cutlery, for napkins, for the bill. Still, a 12.5pc service charge was added at the end - “added for parties of 2 or more”.
We were also sat in an awkward place that didn’t lend for any atmosphere - sort of sat in a corridor next to the kitchen pickup area and the dog bowls. It was also deafeningly loud.
Might be inclined to give it another go on the strength of my friend’s rave reviews of the lamb, but would definitely book, and avoid the chicken.

Good place for a standard breakfast - although their menu is absolutely massive and you could order much much more than the eggs & bacon I did! Not many places offer lamb’s fry…
Eggs and bacon were great, and they swapped out the sliced toast for sourdough at no charge. Really appreciated the condiments and spreads at the table (yay Vegemite!).
Atmosphere was clean and service was good. Great place to work or have a quiet catch-up, as a few tables were doing.

Such a lovely local cafe! The owners are so sweet and welcoming and the food is top notch. We both ordered the steak sandwich ($26) which was all prepared from scratch - the steak was super tender, the mushrooms and onions were delicious and the relish pulled everything together. They even served it with fries (always a good thing) and then gave us a free little dessert to finish it off.
We spied a delicious prawn and mango salad dish that looked amazing as well, so would definitely recommend giving this place a go.
There are also outdoor tables if you fancy sitting outside.

So glad we tried this place. It looks a little like a deli counter when you first walk in, but there are tables at the back. When we arrived at 7pm on a Thursday there was almost no one there, but halfway during the meal we looked around and realised loads of people had arrived and the place was full - always a good sign!
The food was amazing, some of the best Korean I’ve had in London. The seafood pancake came in individual portions, which was slightly strange, but it was crisp and tasty. The japchae was chewy and springy, which I really enjoyed - not a fan when it’s over cooked and becomes wet and mushy. We also had a beef stir fry that was sweet and savoury, really delicious.
But my favourite was the KFC (we had the soy flavour). I’ve had quite a bit of KFC in London now and it’s difficult to get right - the batter can’t be too heavy, the seasoning can’t be too sweet and the chicken still needs to be moist. This one was just right - would go back just for that.
Special mention to the lovely service. The staff is warm, friendly and really attentive - they spotted when we needed water refills, helped us arrange the table, immediately took empty plates away.
Not the cheapest (for four dishes it was just shy of £60) but well worth it - and we took the leftovers for another meal. Will be back!
