Great location next to the river. Good service and food for the price. Had a large party of 6 and we were overall pretty happy with our lunch here. Plenty of seating indoors and out. Pair your meal with a walk around the banks on a nice day. The Creole garlic shrimp was very well flavored but oily and shrimp was a bit overcooked. Spicy corn chowder was hearty and hit the spot! Overall would recommend.
Great Thai food! Quick, friendly service, nice ambiance, generous portions, and amazing flavors! Easy parking in the plaza. Overall highly recommend. Everything we tried from the duck curry to the noodles were well cooked and seasoned. They have a surcharge on most all the dishes during dinner time ($3-$5+), so if you want to try this place out you should stop by for lunch first. Enjoy!
A small noodle spot that really hits the spot! Friendly staff and quick service. There's like 4 tiny tables inside. I got the minced meat and eggplant noodles—very greasy but absolutely delicious, and a fantastic price as well. It was cash only last time I was here (they accepted Venmo). Perfect hole-in-the-wall spot for a quick lunch. Definitely recommend.
Lovely gardens to wander around during the daytime. Plenty of things to see. Parking is free and can get kind of packed so getting here earlier is better. You can buy tickets online or at the door. The arboretum often hosts events like wedding pictures so you might come across a neatly dressed group. There are some nice themed gardens to walk through, and there is a variety of wildlife such as turtles, peacocks, and ducks to enjoy. It’s a big park and worth coming back again. If you’re grabbing a snack or a drink nearby this is the perfect afternoon detour. Definitely recommend!
Good place for hotpot, comparable to YGF nearby though it feels like the meat options are a little less here, and some ingredients a little less fresh. Overall great quality and prices still. Helpful staff and quick turnaround. You fill a bowl with raw ingredients, pick a soup base, and they cook it for you. For a personal hotpot I got plenty of tasty, well cooked food and a bowl of leftovers for $20. Bone broth worked as a good soup base and they had different options for sauces and toppings. The price is set per lb and gets even cheaper when you bring a large group! Would definitely recommend.
