This was my second time coming to Pike Place Market after not having came to Seattle for about six years…. I am going to apologize in advance to the Seattlites that I might offend as this is based on my personal bias. This is a definitely to-go place while you’re in the immediate Downtown area! They have so many options besides seafood — flower stands, merch stores, souvenirs that aren’t $30+ dollars… Pike Place Market is your go-to.
The positives to the Pike Place Market are endless: so many local businesses. I love the strategy of the way they have local businesses promote themselves is quite a smart idea.
However, Pike Place has gotten significantly better but also has its places where it could do better improvements when it comes to sanitation and food quality. Because the Pike Place is so crowded especially during Spring Break, they should exercise more caution by controlling the amount of people that come in and out of the market.
