By far one of the biggest highlights of our trip to Canada. The lake is absolutely beautiful, as are the surroundings. Definitely come as early as possible, as the lake gets incredibly busy. We arrived at around 9am and it was still fairly quiet, but by the time we left it was getting quite crowded. Not a place to miss though!
A lovely and unique selection of souvenirs. Definitely worth a visit if you are in Baltimore and looking for a good keepsake from your trip.
I called the day before to make a midweek lunch booking as the online booking system told me that there was no availability. The very nice woman I spoke to on the phone was able to squeeze us in and I'm very glad that she did as the carvery was wonderful! I will definitely be visiting again.
Absolutely stunning building, well worth a visit. Please note that you have to pay an extra charge in order to take photographs.
Tickets for tours can be purchased inside the old town hall. The tour includes access to view the mechanism inside of the clock as well as the underground rooms beneath the town hall and is well worth the money. This is the only way to go into the underground rooms, which are fairly interesting to see. You can buy tickets on the third floor but may need to come back another day for your tour, as they book up quite quickly.
