Review For CNY eve dinner:
Bad:
1. Yee Sang is extremely small in portion, you cannot toss as usual since it is very little and only one bite per person will finish the entire plate.
2. Between Yee Sang and next meal serving is approximate 25mins. Extremely long waiting time.
3. Food serving presentation is basic for a long legacy restaurant.
4. Food Overall tasted Below average and served warm-cold.
* Fish is especially bland.
* Ribs is OK but slightly hard.
* Double boiled hasma is slightly on the sweet side.
* Couple of menu changed from original advertised without notice.
5. Charged for 8pax but food was delivered to table for 6pax. Informed the Manager and she said I paid for 6pax, and I had to show the receipt that I paid for 8pax. This is very irresponsible and clear evidence that something fishy is going on. Finally got an apology with refund, but resulted my family was unhappy towards such service and quality. A simple reunion dinner, simply ruined with inexperienced staff.
Good:
1. Part time waiter is fast and energetic.
2. Table well prepared earlier than expected for second session.
Was recommended due to good food, turned out a bad experienced which ruined my family reunion dinner after 2yrs+ apart.
i would not mind so much normaly, but this is a reunion dinner and the restaurant screwed up.
