Heard a lot about this place and I've even tasted some of the food via takeout but wanted to sit in and see what the fuss is about.
As soon as you enter you are welcomed in and ushered to your table. The decor and atmosphere and the seatings are top notch and desit style decorations with Indian music playing in the background not too loud which is perfect.
Scan the QR code and you get your menu and tell them your order and the waiter will write everything down for you and ask your spice level. we got 3 starters, some chicken biriyani balls in like butter chicken sauce, meat kebabs and mirch murgi.
Out came poppadoms with mint sauce and tamarind sauce dips. The poppadoms were not stale at all and had the perfect crisp and crunch to them.
Our starters came out and the chicken balls were delightful, don't eat too much of those or you will get full quickly. The kebabs were OK but the star of the food (starters) was the mirch murgi which had deep infused flavours and spice.
Out came our most dish and prawn curry. Both were fantastic and the meat was just falling apart like melted butter. The prawn dish came out it was sweet as our friend didn't like it spicy, but it was too sweet and we sent it back and they made it spicy apna style within 5 minutes. Enjoyed the curry dishes with buttered paratha and garlic naan made fresh and piping hot.
Service was amazing and help was always there when needed. Popped into this place on Saudi Founding Day.

Very nice place. (Not for women) but they do take orders from your car.)
The service was really fast.
I ordered the Chapli kebab and mutton karahi along with some beverages.
The staff are really caring as I was sat in a place where the blazing sun would be hitting me, the staff came over and informed me that I may get hot or burn by the sun and requested that I move to another table for comfort and better air conditioning. I really liked this.
The food came out quickly. The chapli kebab was really nice. Crispy edges and nice soft succulent centre. This was very tasty along with a squeeze of lemon and dipped in some sauce with fresh piping hot naan. The naan was always being served as soon as the staff see that there needs to be a top up.
The mutton karahi was ok. Although I did request it to he spicy, it was a 3/10 spicy which was really disappointing. The karahi also was overpowered by tomatoes and lack of seasoning..
100% definitely get the Chapli Kebab

Phu Pink in Al Khobar offers a dining experience that far exceeds expectations, especially for those seeking authentic Thai cuisine. Though the restaurant itself isn't a high-end establishment and the menu is reasonably priced, the quality of the food is what truly sets it apart.
Our dining experience at Phu Pink was exceptional from start to finish. We requested our dishes to be prepared extra spicy, and the manager's attention to this detail was noteworthy. He personally came to our table to ensure we were certain about our spice preference, a considerate gesture that highlighted their commitment to customer satisfaction.
The food at Phu Pink is absolutely perfect. Each dish we tried was a delightful blend of authentic Thai flavours, skillfully balanced and rich in taste. The extra spiciness was spot on, adding a vibrant kick to the already flavorful dishes without overwhelming the palate. It’s clear that the chefs are well-versed in traditional Thai cooking, bringing a genuine taste of Thailand to the Eastern Province.
Despite its modest setting, Phu Pink's charm lies in its warm atmosphere and friendly service. The staff were attentive and well-informed, providing excellent service that complemented the outstanding food. Their knowledge of the menu and ability to offer insightful recommendations further enhanced our dining experience.
In summary, Phu Pink is a gem in Al Khobar, delivering some of the best authentic Thai food in the Eastern Province. While it may not be a high-end restaurant, its affordable menu and superb food speak volumes. If you’re in Al Khobar and craving an authentic Thai meal, Phu Pink is the place to go.
