Nice playground structures for children of different sizes. There is also a tennis court, soccer practice area, basketball courts and a walking path.

This is a very beautiful setting which is well landscaped. We enjoyed seeing a lot of animals, but unfortunately did not get to see the pandas and many others. It then started raining so our visit was cut short. I used to live nearby 40 years ago and have seen the pandas in the past. They are so darn cute.

What a wonderful day for a hike. Blue skies, wispy clouds and a few contrails. No superbloom, but there were some nice flowers juxtaposed with the basalt rock. There were a few creeks to cross and some rocky hills. My husband had more trouble as he is blind in one eye and has difficulty judging the rocks. You would need an all terrain stroller or wheelchair if those are required. It is dog friendly. Be a responsible dog parent and clean their poop.
