The view attracts us initially but the food won us over too. We stopped for lunch without booking but we’re lucky to sit outside. The main menu is extensive but also there is a big menu of specials . We both had fish various ways including raw in the tartare. They did have gluten free bread which was a bonus, the truffle butter went down a treat with my partner and his freshly baked normal bread.

Service was prompt but not hurried, the waiters all seemed to enjoy their job and have a bit of fun also which is good to see.
They do have a number of local wines including the famous blue bottled one, we were leisurely finishing our wine without being hurried. Would come again
A good find whilst on holiday, the service was welcoming and the food tasty and decent portions. Even had gluten free pasta which worked for me on our second visit (first one I had the lamb photographed)
After a few not-so-good experiences in the past I gave this another try and I am glad to say it looks like it’s improved. It was a week day lunch time so it was fairly quiet but the food and service were very good especially the plaice I had for main
