Great experience, kids loved it. Everything comes off a main street so it's easy to navigate. Mornings are better so the cats are slightly more active. There is a clever orangutan who sits with a blanket on him. Cafes are decent.

Great park , especially for parties and play spaces for wide range of ages. Small exercise area for adults as well. Toilets need improvement. Lots of shaded spaces and seating.

An amazing cathedral full of stained glass windows yet very modern inside. Assume it has been done up structurally quite recent. Sunday church also has Spanish services.

Great spot to find some antique gems. Can be pricey so if you are lucky you could get a bargain. Open on sundays but check times in winter. The area also has a food court with trucks and lots of local art and design stalls.

Not a bad little cruise. Takes you from the marina out into palm Jumeirah and back within an hour. Good views of the the twisted tower block which was unique.
