Great food from this place. Dining-in is your standard environment, nothing too plush; but that's not what you go here for. You're here for the vittles. The menu is quite extensive but do read it carefully as you might not see what you want at first glance. The food I've had has always been tasty, crispy and generous with ingredients. There's no hunting the chicken in their Chicken Curry.

Didn't go to the viewing platform, just the bar for a drink. Well worth doing, especially if you manage to get a table next to a window. Pretty much all the tables in the bar area give up a view of London of some sort. The cost of drinking here didn't hurt my pocket. The staff I interacted with on my visit were attentive, polite and very well manicured. Overall, I had a fab time at The Shard.
