Very unique place, a must visit for locals and those passing through or living not far away. You can actually do a nice loop around the whole park, check AllTrails or similar site for navigation, the loop is not hard to figure out. We did a longer out & back hike starting from Gerlach Park (map image attached)

Nice cozy coffee shop with plenty of seating space and cool interior design (also has bathroom). Great selection of coffees and pastries 🥐 ☕️ as well as sandwiches, smoothies, and cookies 🍪 among many other things 🫠

Good park. The beach was nice in the summer, with bathrooms/showers, we went in August - there were lots of bugs flying on the trails so wear pants/long sleeve or bug spray.

great hiking spot, big parking lot, lots of views, hills, waterfalls, can do mountain biking, just watch your step lots of rocks on trails < which btw lead to awesome spots like Hawk Watch Area & Buttermilk Falls next to it

awesome scenic spot, parking lot near, also multiple trails with 1 going downhill to Buttermilk Falls
