This is a decent hike with a great start, mediocre middle, and okay payoff at the top. At 3.6 miles, it’s just enough to be a tough trip while not being overly challenging. Beautiful starting area with running water and lots of shade, but the middle is mostly exposed and has bugs. The top gives a nice view of Diablo lake, but it’s mixed with tall trees so it’s kind of hard to get a full view. Still not a bad hike overall if you don’t mind the lack of shade. Definitely not a difficult incline, but still has ups and downs.
The best Thai restaurant I’ve tried so far in Bryan College Station. It is a small gas station spot but the food is authentic and delicious, and the portions are very good. I always get Pad See Ew, and this place on par for flavor and portion size, not to mention they are willing to vary spice and protein options. They also had a very good (and large sized) Thai Tea. They provide all the classic Thai food options and they exceed expectations. Definitely would recommend for authentic Thai food in the area, and choose your spice options carefully!
One of the best tea, boba, and coffee places in Bellaire! They have a very nice interior space to hangout in. The drinks are well priced for how high in quality they are, and the to-go cups are reusable! I had the egg coffee, and it was one of the best specialty coffee drinks I’ve had (don’t let the name confuse you, it doesn’t taste like eggs). I will definitely come back to try their other drinks. Highly recommend as a place to get a good drink and hangout at.
