This zoo is honestly the worst zoo I have ever seen. Nearly all of the animals were showing signs of boredom/stress. The enclosures are WAY to small and run down. I have never cried at a zoo before but I was uncontrollably balling my eyes out witnessing the conditions these animals live in. The polar bear had multiple wounds, the monkeys know nothing but life inside of a cage, and the hippo enclosure is smaller than my living room and the giraffe was living on the side of a building on concrete. The list could go on and on. These animals need a major upgrade. The elephant keepers also had bull hooks on hand. I wish facilities such as these didn’t even exist. These animals deserve so much better and the care they are being given is unacceptable. Do not visit this zoo, it is not educational for any age group.
