We are out of towners, and my husband and I stopped in as we like the fit of most volcom items for him and for our little boys. We were welcomed and greeted immediately upon entry, and had some of the best customer service experiences here I’ve had in a long time. The two young men working the night we came in were exceptionally helpful, checked in just the right amount, and just genuinely wanted us to find what we were looking for. Looking at my receipt salesperson name, it was Montgomery who happened to be helping us, so thank you! We bought some items, went home happy.
Fast forward a few days later (this past Monday) I realize I left a shopping bag from another store in here the night we went shopping. I called first thing Monday morning to see if by chance someone turned it in, by sheer luck and a whole lot of thanks to the integrity of their employees that night, they retrieved the bag, and hung on to it I’m guessing or assuming that someone would call in to look for it. So first of all, thank you to your staff for being honest! These days someone could’ve easily swiped it, gave my items away or sold it on the Internet you never know. Anyways, that being said, i spoke with your manager, Steven this morning after he confirmed he indeed have my bag of items. I asked him if he didn’t mind bringing it back to the original store and I would sort it out with them on how to mail it back. He offered to send it back to me, as I didn’t want to impose, he then insisted it was no big deal, and was happy to do it. This bag wasn’t even from their store! So Steven thank you for going above and beyond for us, you made this a memorable shopping experience and then some. You’ve set a great tone with your staff, as it has shown through with your management style and the trickle down effect to your honorable young men you have helping run the store. Thank you again from a very happy customer :)
