Beautiful place. When the weather is clear it’s very peaceful. Whales do frequent around the area but haven’t seen come very near as the water i think is not very deep. Seals can be spotted near the rocks. Take picnic baskets with you and enjoy the experience. 2-3 km section of the road is gravel. If you drive slowly, sedans should be fine.

We went there just for hot air balloon lift off. So, I won’t be able to comment much on the rides and other events and stuff available for the family. Unfortunately due to the weather the lift off didn’t happen.

One thing you should keep in mind that parking was only available for people who were camping there. You may get asked to park in Jacques-Cartier or else park on the street.
