Opera Gallery
2018 Aug 29
I visited the gallery yesterday and must say that I have never encountered such rudeness in all my life. An employee followed my friend and I around the gallery laughing at us and asking which of the paintings we wanted to buy, and then said that they were all free (trying to humiliate us). He then called another employee to join in this charade (and who gladly did). I really don't understand how these obnoxious brutes are allowed to work in a renowned establishment- they have the most grotesque attitudes that I have ever encountered in any gallery or shop, and I left the gallery almost in tears. I implore others not to go here if they wish to have an enjoyable experience, there are plenty of other beautiful galleries where the employees are gracious and inviting; Opera Gallery Monaco is simply an ugly joke. I wish I had filmed this horrible experience to show the world how awfully we were treated here, but I was so shocked that I did not even think to.

Update (31/08/2018): Thankyou for the quick response, it really is appreciated. However, unfortunately you have been deceived by the aforementioned men whom I am certain are employees at your establishment. One was sitting at a desk at the top of the first flight of stairs when we entered, and I saw the same employee closing up the gallery later that day as I walked past (he had brown/blondish hair, glasses and a beard to my recollection); the other man was shorter, older and had dark brown hair. If you look at Opera Gallery Monaco's CCTV you'll see the whole incident. Again, I appreciate your quick and lovely reply (based on it my friend and I will happily visit any other Opera Gallery), however, it is clear that these two employees are continuing to make fools of people.
