Today I finally visited this gem that I’ve always been so curious about! They have an amazing selection of candles and crystals. I found a perfect duo pair of candles for spiritual cleansing that I have been looking for !
The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because of my experience with the older gentleman behind the counter today. He let a lady cut the person in front of me, mid checking out the person in front of me, to let the lady cut and make a purchase. The person in front of me mentioned that was rude of both the lady for doing that AND the gentleman behind the counter for allowing it. The gentleman didn’t say anything in response.
The person in front also asked for 5 anis stars. When the gentleman went to go bag them for her, he was bagging more than 5. The chick then asked “I only asked for 5, how many are in there ?” And the man just responded “well… how many are in there”.
He saw that I only had the pair of candles so he asked the chick in front of me if he can just help me out since I only had the 2 items. I told him it was ok and to continue helping her out.
The chick then expressed again how rude it was for him to let someone cut in front of her and not acknowledge it. The man didn’t say a word.
When I gave him my card , he looked at the name and noticed it was my male partners name. I told him it was my partner’s card who was in the store with me earlier. He seemed a little off put by that for some reason.
Overall, the store is calming and great selection! I just got some very off vibes about the gentleman today which makes me want to come to the store when I’m in a better head space .
