A premier rowing club in NYC, City Island Rowing, lead by Coach Guy, appeals to female athletes who want to row and grow in the sport. Notable is Coach Guy’s emphasis on rowing small boats WELL, improving a rower’s feel on the water and technical skills necessary for top-notch speed in the larger boat categories. As a mom, what warms my heart most is seeing my daughter have so much fun, love her crew family, and live for the thrill of racing.
