This was our favorite museum in London. If you have several days in London, you should add it to your list of things to do. It is walkable to Big Ben, Parliament, and Westminster Abbey. The museum about Churchill's life was very interesting. We learned things we never knew about him. And the war rooms were fascinating. How they lived during World War II. It was so good that we may go back again. We recommend buying tickets in advance.
Definitely a must-see in Venice. Probably the number one thing to see. This might be an example of when it's worth spending money on a guide / tour to get a better understanding of the tourist attraction. We did the evening tour, which was much less crowded and probably also worth the money during the busy summer season. We didn't get to see the second floor with the horse statues, but we did get to see the crypt, which is only open in the evening.
Definitely a must-do in Venice. It is less busy before 10:00 am and after dark. Otherwise, very crowded. Taking a gondola ride underneath the bridge is also a good option. On the bridge itself are fancy stores, but it is used almost exclusively for crossing the grand canal and taking great pictures.
Very neat old church. They have a line you can wait in to see the ceiling reflected in a mirror, which is pretty cool as well. This is a free, quick stop to see one of the more famous and more interesting churches in Rome. One of the "domes" is a painting that looks like a dome, which is also worth checking out. The church is near the Pantheon and worth it if you have time.
We had a birthday party here. It was lots of fun for the kids. They were able to climb for more than a couple hours and we were able to use picnic tables for the party. Parking is across the street from the entrance. Warning. You may not want to eat or drink much before coming here. The only bathrooms are port-o-potties in the parking lot across the street.
