Alborz High School،
The most memorable place on earth for me. A place where, I not only studied for seven years, from 1357 to 1364, but also lived and found my dearest friends. This complex was founded in 1873 by an American missionary named James Bassett. By making changes, Dr. Samuel M. Jordan turned it into an educational complex for two 6-year periods of elementary school and high school, which was called American College of Tehran. He managed the complex for 43 years until 1940. In this year, by order of Reza Shah, the management of the complex was entrusted to the Ministry of Education of Iran and its name was changed to Alborz High School. 4 years later, Dr. Mohammad Ali Mojtahedi, a professor at Tehran University, was chosen as the principal. Later, he founded Polytechnic University and Ariyamehr University (currently Sharif Industrial University), but he preferred the management of Alborz to the presidency of these universities.
With exemplary tact and discipline, he provided many facilities in Alborz High School without the help of the government during his 35 years of management. Facilities such as standard football field, tennis courts, volleyball courts, basketball courts, indoor sports hall, technical workshops and numerous laboratories, central library and dormitory building for students from different cities. It is noteworthy that after the Islamic Revolution, not only was nothing added to this collection, but the dormitory building and the middle school building were separated from Alborz and handed over to Tarbiat Moalem University.
Among the alumni of Alborz, some of whom have world fame, the following people can be named:
Mohamad khatam commander in chief of IIAF,
Hossein Amanat,
Solayman haiim,
Sadegh Chubak,
Lotfi Ali asgar zadeh, Mohamad-ali Eslami nodooshan,
Ali Javan, Firooz Partovi, Dariush Ashoori,
Currently vafa,
Farzad Nazem,
Homayoun Khorram,
Jamshid Mashayekhi,
Khosrow Sinayi,
Esmayil Mirfakhrayi,
Afshin Yadollahi,
Adel Ferdowsi-pour,
Tahmasb Mazaheri,
Dariush Homayoun, Mansour Hekmat,
Alireza Nourizadeh,
Parviz Radji,
Homayoun Katooziyan,
Mostafa Chamrun,
And regrettably
Mostafa Mirsalim.
It is said that Mahdi Baligh, the most famous iranian fraudster has been a student in Alborz High school too. 😅

This place has a cosy and charming ambient with polite staff. Foods are of decent quality and prices are rather high but acceptable. It's a good place for a date or gatherings. The place is large with vast windows.
The restaurant has been working for almost 25 years. The foods that i've had were very good. The price is rasonbale, the staff are polite and the place is clean and cosy. The only problem is finding a good parking place, in my opinion.
