I'm not one to write reviews, but my experience at Temper Shoreditch was so enjoyable that I felt the need to share my experience. While I work in central London and have often frequented Temper in Soho for work-related socials, I had never ventured to any of the other locations. Shoreditch, despite its proximity, always seemed to be lower on the agenda due to the perceived notion that Soho is the main one, so why bother elsewhere.

However, my visit to Shoreditch on Friday (26th Jan), was a great surprise. The layout is great – you walk in, you initially see the bar area, which was a nice vibe, full of chatter and people enjoying themselves, and as you descend one level further, you're greeted with the BBQ station front and centre, grabbing your attention with that theater kitchen. The staff were incredibly knowledgeable; even going through the little pictures on the menu so I understood what steak to order, the waitstaff were attentive, and the chefs behind the counter not only had smiles but also seemed like they actually liked each other… (which is rare find – something I appreciate as a fan of the TV show Bear).

The overall experience was truly pleasant. The food was exceptional; the steak was cooked to perfection (my taste), and I couldn't get enough of the goat cheese tacos. Ahhh let's not forget the pork rib – definitely try it! All in all, it turned out to be a fantastic way to spend my Friday.

Thanks to all the staff who were there for making it such a great experience!
