This theater shows its age. It's very outdated. The upper level seats are terrible. Even for a thin person, if they happen to be tall, they will for sure be uncomfortable. Even a short person will not have enough leg room. I'm specifically talking about section PP row N at the top. Also, I literally could not see anything when the people in the row ahead of us took their seats. Honestly, the Majestic on Main Street in downtown is better, though I think that's actually a much older theater. Unless I can get seats very close to the stage next time I don't think I'll go back to this theater. We watched Beetlejuice the Musical and that was an excellent show. Too bad it wasn't at a better venue.
A tiny, hole in the wall place that at first was a bit intimidating for us tourists from the South, but we got over our nerves and were rewarded with some of the best dumplings we've ever had. You just tell the lady what you want and pay with cash, she had our order ready fast. There's only one table and it's on the sidewalk and at the time it was occupied, but there's a basketball court around the corner, a little park with a small playground and plenty of benches in the shade. We got the fried pork dumplings and the pork buns. I think we spent $15 total for enough to feed three people. The food was genuinely delicious. Cheapest meal of our entire stay in New York City!
