Amir “Oveis” Honarmand

I had high hopes for Kitaro Ramen, and I was going to score 3 stars for the food but hear me out. While the food seemed authentic, it lacked seasoning, and the cleanliness of the place is very questionable, the plastic water cups are yellowish. The service was okay, but while I was eating, a tiny cockroach-looking insect came out from a crack on the bar, which really put me off. Couldn't finish the meal and got out as soon as I could. Unless they do deep cleaning at the store , it's a no-go for me.

Finding a Chinese restaurant in Tehran is a challenge, but this one surprised me. The noodle and beef and broccoli dishes were on par with many Western Chinese restaurants. The spring rolls were fresh, a pleasant addition. However, the service left much to be desired – slow and inattentive. Additionally, it's overpriced for the overall experience. It's an okay experience overall.

Pros: Beautiful vista, clean and well maintained facilities, friendly staff, good food.
Cons: Pretty expensive, the Barg kebab was raw in the middle.

Amazing food, everything is delicious, and come with tasty free sides. The service is fast as the place is always buzzing.

They have done an amazing job renovating this old house into a memorable venue with an exquisite ambiance. The staff is fast, friendly and helpful, but as per Tehran's poor quality service standards, they never check on you after they serve the food. The Kashke Bademjan was just perfect. But the Gheymeh Nesar is just embarrassing, it hardly has any stew, and so little barberry and nuts which are essential to that dish. The plain rice ratio to everything else is way off. The Colorful salad, was also inedible, mostly very large chunks of lettuce with a few cherry tomatoes and terrible dressing, no creativity in that salad except for it's bizzare name; smoke and mirrors.
The prices are extremely high in comparison. Overall the place is very pretty and people are nice, but that's about all there is to it.
