They "verified" Eye Insurance costs on the phone before we booked an appointment, but then when we went there, AFTER the procedure, they said our eye insurance was 'inactive'. Well, yes, the company switched providers a few months ago in Sept and didn't let us know, (we had the eye card, and only knew that one) but this place "verified" that our card was active and quoted a $39 visit over then phone before we came to them, but then after the visit and check, charged $150+. Would have been nice to have been told our insurance was inactive BEFORE the visit!!! Bait and switch anyone? They knew before but didn't tell us, the clerk just didn't look on the screen (the billing person said 'Yea, right here it says inactive.')
