There are very few places where you can get a quick ID photo now. Here you can get 2 photos for $9 within 10-15 minutes. You can also develop film photos and print from a cell phone or tablet as well. It's tucked in a corner by Confucius Plaza right by the Manhattan Bridge.
Really nice place to ride a bike and explore. The park is not entirely opened yet. When I went there was supposed to be a guided birding tour, but it ended up being an "explore" yourself kind of a day which I didn't expect.
This is one of the more dilapidated subway stations in the NYC Subway system. There are leaks in the station house and the staircases have holes in them. Definitely be careful of large puddles. The station is not wheelchair friendly.
Update- most of the renovations are finished and a second entrance has been placed on 7th Ave and 62nd street. Really useful if you need to get to the subway on the other side. However, there is no station attendent. It also seems like they're placing elevators into this station. There are now 2 crossovers at both ends of the station.
