The closest airport for wonderful Barcelona. Connections to the city are a little confused on Google Maps. Maps has you take the train and then walk to change for the Metro.
Turns out the Metro goes to both terminals, though signs for the Metro don't appear until you get to Terminal 1.
At terminal 1, there's a long walkway to the train station and a tiny sign that indicates the Metro. It took a protracted conversation with the helpful train staff to understand that I could take the metro directly to the city, and sadly they talked themselves out of a customer.
Note to Facilities Manager: the baggage claim at Terminal 2 is lovely and well organized, then you get to the public space outside, and the first impression is the broken tiles in the Arrivals lounge. I felt I was in a banana republic at that point, though it's been pretty cool since then. Hope it doesn't take another grant from the EU to get this fixed!

London airport for budget airlines. No frills, but systems here work well. Main problem is getting here. I took a National Express bus here on a Sunday, and there aren't many choices, so I arrive 4h before the ETD. No problem. I'd rather be early than late.
There's a prayer room, which is rejuvenation, to be able to sit quietly without the bustle in the main areas.
Modern travel these days, everything is on the phone app. There are good places here to weigh your bags and make any adjustments before paying extra at the checkin desk.

Great staff, unique offerings, amazing deals
Wonderful people, easy to view collections, incredible fabrics, and great service. The sampling is easy and tracked with barcode technology. Fancy that!
