Ive found most taquerias in Denver serve gringo wonder bread like tacos e burritos.

Tacos de Mexico is a legit Taqueria. She ain’t pretty inside but you can feel its the real deal. The abuelitas cooking there are cooking home style. Here you can get Cabasa, lengua, tripa and all kinds of unique cuts of meats for tacos.

Perfect for drunken eats

Odyssey Italian is a staple on 6th. Housed in a funky old house Odyssey serves large portions of basic classic Italian dishes. Prices are reasonable…just don’t expect mind blowing dishes. Great for a casual date or taking the whole family out. Their health score isn’t the best but I haven’t noticed anything

When I come back to my hometown I always drop by to get my fix of legit tacos and burritos. I have been coming here for over 20! Years and have never been disappointed. Prices are amazing.

The go to are the carne asada and al Pastor

If I’ve had a night of drinking their Birria is seriously legit

This is my favorite Italian restaurant in Denver. Perfect romantic date night. I must forewarn you reservations are a must. Place is always busy……period.

I always order the prefix dinner with the wine pairings. Always amazing
