Went for a random stay at London and wanted a decent place on the outskirts. This place was a good choice. Overall we enjoyed ourselves.
It was neat, clean and the staff were very friendly.
They charge £15 extra for parking on their site so be aware you have to book this in advance. They only have about 5/6 spaces I think it was but I still found that very expensive.
Things I would change if I could... breakfast was very disorganised.
The receptionist was doing everything herself and on her own. Even after breakfast had finished and we checked out, the tables were still dirty.
It didn't look good.
There were not enough tables to accommodate everyone at the same time. They should put a timed system in place so everyone is more comfortable.
There wasn't much in the sense of choice as the hot food was in one little pot. The guests were like bees around a honeypot once the chef put more food out. It felt like we were watching and waiting like meerkats rather than enjoying and relaxing with our food.
The rooms were comfortable. We were in a heatwave and our air con wouldn't switch to cold.
The batteries in the remote needed changing.
It would have been useful to have a bedside lamp in the room as you either had a choice of very bright or dark.
The walls are thin and you can hear your neighbouring rooms.
You couldn't hear too much traffic but we were on the lower ground.
It is a nice hotel. Good location, shops and train stops all walkable distance.
I'm not sure I'd visit again though.
